Session one: ranks and suits
Write the rank and suit of three example cards. Ask what repeats and what matches. Compare a pair with a same-suit hand; they describe different properties. Read the ranking chart and keep its no-Joker profile visible.
Session two: a round in words
Explain the difference between information status, an action and a hand category. Blind and seen are not extra categories. Use gameplay to identify what must be agreed before a show.
Session three: explain an answer
Try the practice questions without the chart open, then check the reasons. Choose three distinct cards in the classifier and write a sentence explaining its result. Changing one card can change the pattern.
Keep a short notebook
Record the question, your original explanation and the correction. Do not use a lucky outcome as proof that a rule was understood. These exercises assess pattern recognition, not future game results.
Stop when the question changes
A Joker variant or a different Ace convention needs its own rule profile. If a term belongs to another game, check its instructions rather than transferring the Teen Patti chart.
